Message :"why arent you posting it on the z club. im pretty sure everybody there is going to appreciate what youre doing"
:"Probably because everyone there thinks that anything more than 5-600rwhp is more than enough on the Z. I've been a member on 300zxclub since 2002 (iirc), and people have always questioned the need for more power. I stopped going there because of it (and the fact that there are very few people who go all-out on their Z; it's like budget-build central)."
:His pic is right next to the definition of more money than brains. Also, for someone trying to go against the "budget-build central" mentality, why the AMS manifolds?

Hope you're not talking about me with that comment. If so, reading comprehension>you. My reasoning for not posting on 300zx boards was

"The main reason I'm not putting this up on z boards is because I like to surprise people. In the z world everyone follows my progress and stages, so its always interesting to just come out and surprise people. Most of them know what happened to the z, know what I have planned (for the most part) but I like just coming out with pics when its all done instead of updating progress lol."

With that being said, if you weren't talking about me then sorry.

As for the AMS Manifold question, I'm sure that was directed to me. Typical TT.net question, though. We can debate the MS/AMS manifold thing as much as we want, it won't get us anywhere. I got them because I wanted to. I bought them when they first came out (when they used to cost only about $100 less than the MS manifolds), and I never once in any of MY posts mentioned "budget build". I got them based on the advertised flow numbers and personal preference. I am well aware that depending on the clocking of my turbos I may need to modify the manifolds slightly, that is not an issue to me.

Sorry if this all was not directed at me. If this is the case I must have just misunderstood your post. If it was directed towards me, then there is your answer and I'm sorry I did not buy the parts that you like- for my build.
